The Kitchener Waterloo Skating Club is affiliated with the City of Kitchener and can be reached at 519-886-5972 Ext. 229, or you can also their website
What are the hours of the Lyle S. Hallman walking track? 
The hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Please see the City of Kitchener website for walking track updates and closures.
What is the cost to use the walking track? 

It's free!

What time does The Aud open? 

The Activa Box Office at The Aud is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily. The box office may be open for extended hours during special events. The Activa Box Office is closed mid-June to August.

The Administration Office at The Aud is open from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Can I smoke at The Aud & arenas?

The Smoke Free Ontario Act is currently in effect at all City-owned facilities, including The Aud & arenas. The Act prohibits smoking, including tobacco and cannabis, whether it be recreational or medicinal, and vaping in any public area within 20 metres of the perimeter of a City-owned property line. In accordance with this Act, there is absolutely no smoking or vaping at The Aud or at any city-owned arena.

Do you have a basketball court we can rent?

Yes - when the KW Titan’s floor is down. Please contact us at 519-741-2699 or email us to check for rental availability. 

Where can I park at The Aud? Is there a cost?

We have lots of free parking in our public lots (it is recommended you arrive earlier for free parking as it does tend to fill up quickly) as well as accessible parking at all entrances. Check out our parking page for more information.

Is there free Wi-Fi at The Aud?
Yes, The Aud has free Wi-Fi. Choose the “Kitchener Public WiFi” network on your phone, computer or other device and follow the instructions that show up.
Do I need an event ticket for my two-year-old?

In most cases, children aged two and under do not require a ticket if they are sitting on a parent or guardian’s lap. Some special events require tickets for children aged one and over. Please call us at 519-578-1570 for more information.

Can I buy a gift certificate to The Aud?

Yes! Gift certificates can be purchased by calling 519-741-2699 or in person at The Activa Box Office at The Aud. Gift certificates can be used for tickets and concessions. 

Where is the closest dine-in restaurant to The Aud?  
The closest dine-in restaurant is in Eastwood Square (120 Ottawa Street North Kitchener). Check out more nearby dining options.
 Can I exit and then re-enter The Aud during a ticketed event?

No. The Aud and the City of Kitchener are committed to providing guests with the safest and most secure environment. Once a ticketed guest has been scanned into an event, there will be no in-and-out privileges and no re-entry will be permitted after exiting a designated door. This no re-entry policy is in effect for all ticketed events, including all Kitchener Rangers home games, KW Titans home games and other special events. Guests with emergencies will be assisted by Aud Staff at the top of the main stairs on a case-by-case basis.

Is The Aud a nut free facility? 

Unfortunately, The Aud is not a not free environment.

Food serves here may contain: peanuts, eggs, wheat, mustard, sesame, milk, tree nuts, soy, fish and crustaceans.
